Senior Cleaning Validation Associate

Philadelphia PA

Successful candidates should have the following: Candidate must be familiar with current FDA/Industry practices and guidelines including those required/outlined by FDA Guidance and ICH Guidelines. Experience with creating/developing cleaning programs inclusive of both chemical and micro considerations. Understanding of Cleaning validation, design and/or operation. Maintains a professional, positive and respectful “can do” attitude. Critical eye with an open mind and the capability to think outside the established norms is expected from this position. Strong quality orientation, good work ethic, and multi-tasking capability. A minimum of 4-8 years directly involved in a cleaning validation position within the pharmaceutical industry. Ability to initiate and lead cleaning validation related projects. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate outcomes/updates throughout the organization and the ability to make presentations to peers. Experience with Visual Residue Limit Determination and/or Environmental Monitoring his preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Microbiology/other science preferred with 4-8 years of pharmaceutical cleaning experience. Knowledge of cGMPs is essential. Experience with regulatory agency interactions is a plus. Must be able to perform surface area drawings, calculations, residual limit determination, etc. Candidates must have proficient written and verbal command of the English language. Statistician

Successful candidates should have the following: Candidates should have a B.S. in statistics, biostatistics, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Pharmaceutical development experience and prior experience with PAT equipment is highly desired. Knowledge of DOE and general linear models is essential. Must have proficient experience with Mini-Tab and/or JMP along with a familiarity with the Microsoft Product Suite. Candidates must have experience in the application of statistics for the development and optimization of drug product in support of small molecule regulatory filings preferred. Familiarity with the types of data generated in drug product development (e.g. dissolution, content uniformity, assay, etc.). Candidates must have strong written and verbal command of the English language. Skills Requirements: Thorough knowledge of common laboratory test procedures and instrumentation, especially HPLC; USP/NF methodology; relevant regulatory requirements. Good knowledge of non-routine tests and scientific concepts. Strong knowledge of method development and validation. Ability to read and interpret test procedures, manuals, technical documents or instructions in mathematical or diagram form, SOPs and governmental regulations. Ability to summarize and explain such documents to more junior and senior staff. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, and statistics to practical situations. Ability to perform mathematical calculations used for assigned testing and to assist more junior staff in performing calculations.
