Provide maintenance service on R&D laboratory, pilot plant, office, parking facilities. Perform routine and complex preventive maintenance and repair on a variety of equipment, building systems, central utilities and facility components and structures.

Install, operate and maintain all building equipment and components that support the facility including: HVAC systems, building control systems, purified water, cooling towers, chillers, steam boilers, emergency generators, clean steam, RO water, compressed air and lab gas distribution systems. Trouble shoot problems in the event of mechanical failure of equipment and recommend necessary parts for effective repair.

Install, operate and maintain Process equipment supporting Clinical Manufacturing suites including: bioreactors, purification systems, purified water systems, tanks and skids, mixers, blenders, agitators, pumps, heat exchangers, columns, bench top equipment and local water systems.

Service and repair equipment and systems to meet cGXP requirements throughout the Clinical Manufacturing and R&D Laboratory facilities.
*
Perform periodic building equipment inspections following a checklist format and according a schedule to proactively identify maintenance and repair needs prior to building occupants.
*
Direct and assist other technicians as needed in performing all duties as assigned.
*
Work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required to resolve problems and make recommendations.
*
Work effectively with contractors and assist Project Management Teams from Facilities and Global Engineering.
*
Develop or assist in the development of any documents required to support the Maintenance function.
*
Determine or assist in the determination if newly installed equipment or facilities are suitable for maintenance operation and usage.

Monitor as required and respond to all assigned BMS (Building Management System) alarms.
