The Role

It's an exciting time at Genmab! After our first successful comprehensive commercial launch of EPKINLY™ in the United States, Genmab is recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to expand its US Market Revenue FP&A Team. We are looking for a candidate that is driven to deliver results, passionate about helping patients, and has a collaborative approach to partnering with business leaders.

This position will be responsible for managing monthly revenue reporting, conducting sales analytics to generate insights, and leading GTN forecasting efforts in collaboration with the Strategic Pricing Team.

Maintaining strong partnership with business leaders across Market Access, Business Insights & Analytics, Marketing, and FP&A will be key to success in this role.

Additional responsibilities include long-range forecasting, ad hoc strategic decision support, and sales & operations planning support. This role will also partner with the Sr. Associate US Market Revenue FP&A to provide close support, ensure compliance with SOX controls, and distribution/3PL operations support as needed.

This role will be based in Princeton, NJ and will be onsite 60% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly revenue reporting efforts in collaboration with Business Insights & Analytics and Brand Marketing to deliver insights to market leaders.
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition by overseeing the US Market revenue financial close process and support the Sr. Associate as needed to properly account for GTN reserves, preparation of journal entries & balance sheet account reconciliations, and ensure compliance with SOX Controls.
  • Lead GTN forecasting by collaborating with key stakeholders to gather assumptions, analyzing market trends and actual results, modeling GTN, and partnering with the Government Pricing Team to evaluate government pricing impacts (i.e. Best Price, 340B, ASP, FSS, Medicaid, etc.).
  • Support revenue and market COGS forecasting efforts, including long-range planning, for the US Market in collaboration with FP&A and Business Insights & Analytics.
  • Evaluate strategic pricing and contracting decisions with financial analysis and challenge assumptions as needed.
  • Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. A major in Finance, Accounting, or other Business-related degree is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive business experience in pharmaceutical finance or accounting is required.
  • Prior experience with Revenue/GTN accounting and forecasting is strongly preferred.
  • Being a team player with an ownership mentality who is not afraid to "roll up the sleeves," and demonstrate a diplomatic, intuitive and mature presence; operate well in a fast-paced environment with strong interpersonal and presentation skills is required.
  • Progressive, forward thinker; ambitious; comfortable with ambiguity; tenacious; flexible.
  • Strong operational experience of product and financial flows with Trade, Distribution, and Market Access partners is preferred.
  • Ability to partner and collaborate with all levels of the organization is required.
  • Robust technical and analytical skills with an intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillset is required.
  • SAP & Adaptive Planning experience are preferred.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$114,375.00---$190,625.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
