The Position

The Senior Analyst will be the Master Data Management (MDM) primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Market Access and Public Affairs (MAPA), Pricing & Contracting Operations and Reimbursement (PCOR) Account Management, the SME for Medical Review Committee, Compliance, Legal, Personal Promotion, and other HCP related policies.

The role will be responsible for managing NNI HCP Specialty Matrix and maintaining the policies related to HCP Specialty Matrix and Verifying HCP as Appropriate for Personal Promotion. The role will also serve as backup to the Manager for Data Stewards of Patient, Customer and Product masters. Role will also be responsible for day-to-day support activities related to Veeva Data Change Requests, field inquires on customer data related to address changes, name changes, State License Numbers and other questions.

Role will work with MDM system and become an expert in how to use the MDM tool to maintain NNI master data and business rules. This position will also work with NNI Product Master. Role will ensure all Organization Manager master data is up to date, accurate and roster is published to downstream stakeholders when needed.

Position will have responsibility for ensuring quality master data and data governance standards are maintained and enforced. The incumbent will serve as liaison with the Information Management team to identify and drive initiatives to modify existing business processes to ensure quality data for use by downstream programs/users.

Relationships

This role reports to the Director of Master Data Management within the Data Strategy and Execution Master/Data Team in the CI&A department.

Primary internal relationships are within Data Strategy, Information Management, Market Access, all Field Sales teams, Omni Channel, Legal and Compliance. External relationships will include other NNI stakeholders and external vendors as needed.

Essential Functions
  • Good understanding of Data Governance processes and Master Data Management principals like reference data, match merge, cleanse lists, rejects QC and management
  • Maintain records and metrics of field inquiries
  • Understanding of HealthCare Systems and Market Access PBM, Payer, Employer, Plan etc. affiliations and overall account data standards and how they are employed by NNI field systems
  • Manage HCP Specialty Matrix process, ensuring all procedures are followed and keep all stakeholders informed of specialty or product indication changes
  • Ensure NNI Product and roster system is accurate and all requirements for downstream systems are met
  • Must be able to look at business requirements and compare to data from outside sources, like IQVIA, MedPro, and internal sources like Veeva, etc.
  • Create or maintains training manuals and/ or work instructions for processes and systems required
  • Data Steward for Healthcare Customers (including Professionals and Organizations) which includes, but is not limited to:
    • Consolidation of duplicate records
    • Ensuring all required identifiers are listed on the consolidated records
    • Investigating potential affiliations between both HCP and HCO
    • Addressing field force data change requests
    • Experience with Veeva CRM
    • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for various system releases
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance and training to various team members
  • Collaborate across boundaries to ensure data quality requirements are being identified across multiple stakeholders to drive accuracy in data delivery
  • Develop change request process, analyze change requests, disposition and implementation alternatives and implementation impacts
  • Employ problem solving skills to efficiently resolve data issues and participate in managing ad hoc projects as necessary
  • Makes recommendations and shares point of view with relevant stakeholders regarding Customer Domain
  • Ensure timely receipt of data from vendors and ensure data integrity
  • Work with project team to ensure Third Party Agreements are in place where needed

Physical Requirements

0-10% overnight travel required.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, business, computers, marketing or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years' pharmaceutical or equivalent industry required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to work independently and have excellent communication and writing skills
  • Must have some SQL or programming skills
  • Good knowledge of Account Management for Market Access accounts, Health systems, HCPs and business rules and processes that impact these data objects
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and transition between assignments quickly
  • Experience in Master Data Management (i.e. Customer, Patient, Geography, Patient) and Data Analysis a plus, preferably in Pharmaceutical/ Health Industry Professional and Organization customer data (IQVIA Health HCPS/ HCOS data)
  • Create or maintain training manuals and or work instructions for processes and system required
  • Experience in tools like Informatica, IDD, IDQ, Realtio, Excel, or Access to manage master data and data quality
  • Strong MDM data governance experience in maintaining valid reference data, change management and stakeholder management
