Description
Position Summary:

The Technician I, Operations - Finishing supports the ongoing development, manufacture, and distribution of pharmaceutical products in compliance with local Administration. The Technician, Operations - Finishing will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Complete Pre- and Post- line clearances for each batch record
  • Check in labeling/packaging components for the current batch record
  • Emboss cartons using the embossing machine
  • Clean production areas in between batches
  • Stock supplies in production areas as needed
  • Open cartons and insert egg cartons and package inserts, per the batch record
  • Set-up and operate vial labeler
  • Complete pages in the batch production record, set-up of the labeler and vision system and operating the labeler
  • Inspect labeled vials for accuracy of information
  • Package finished product
  • Assemble daily production tags/labels for traceability of finished product
  • Assist in palletizing finished product
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
  • Must have good hygiene
  • Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division)
  • Must adhere to and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and comply with all cGMP regulations
  • Clean lab coats, hair nets and gloves must be worn in the manufacturing area
  • Ability to use a pallet jack

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma / or GED equivalent required.
