Description
Position Summary

The Director of Operational Excellence will lead the overall strategic transformation of business operations by promoting a culture of continuous, sustainable performance improvement.

The ideal candidate will have the necessary leadership skills, business acumen and strategic knowledge to challenge the status quo and drive organizational improvements to support a culture of operational excellence (OE).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic plan for improving operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization
  • Create, champion, and lead continuous improvement (CI) teams through the deployment of OE tools
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, training to all levels of the organization on the practical application of OE training programs
  • Lead and deploy project management techniques to improve process and performance while driving organizational effectiveness
  • Develop project tracking system to measure effectiveness of continuous improvement results

Experience Requirements
  • Ten (10) or more years in sterile manufacturing and continuous improvement roles and five (5) years leadership experience
  • Experience with strategic planning, project and change management, and operational excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a growing, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
  • Results oriented problem solver with strong analytical mind set
  • Proven knowledge of lean processes and methodologies within a manufacturing environment (DMAIC; Standard Work; Kanban / Pull Systems; TPM; Kaizen; Problem Solving; 5S; Value Stream Mapping)

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field
  • Six Sigma or similar certifications preferred
