About the Department

The Cardiometabolic Marketing Team leads the US marketing efforts for Novo Nordisk's robust cardiometabolic product portfolio, which includes world class therapies for the treatment of diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and other serious chronic diseases. As part of the team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of our portfolio vision, business strategies, and tactical plans that drive our business forward. You will help to drive the NNI portfolio and Brand strategies to ensure the products reach the people who need them most.

The Position

As an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) UX Architect, your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver exceptional user experiences for AEM-based applications and websites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the AEM platform provides a seamless user experience for customers.

Relationships

Reports to the Associate Director of Content Management; Provides direct support to the Digital Marketing team, HCP/Patient Brand Leads, and Sales. The position interacts with multiple NNI internal functions such as Brand Managers, Omnichannel teams, IT, Regulatory and Commercial Insights & Analytic, as well as external operational vendors and agencies.

Essential Functions
  • Investigate user experience design requirements for our of digital assets
  • Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the company
  • Test UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user
  • Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior
  • Advocating the benefits of accessible design and usability with clients and team members
  • Giving insightful and constructive feedback on the designs, including interactions, information architecture, content, and alignment with business goals and user needs
  • Performing competitive assessments and providing innovative alternatives, as well as researching and understanding design and technology trends
  • Create and maintain design documentation, including design specifications and guidelines
  • Provide support throughout design, coding/dev and deployment process
  • Reviewing and implementing browser and device support criteria across digital content
  • Audit and evaluate existing content and functionality
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines for UX development
  • Collaborate with backend architects to ensure smooth integration between front-end

Physical Requirements

10-20% overnight travel required.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in UX design, information architecture, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 6-8 years of proven experience as a UX architect, UX designer, or a similar role, working on digital products and platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Strong understanding of Token Libraries (Figma)
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • A strong portfolio of UX projects, demonstrating your skills and process in UX architecture and design
  • Proficiency in UX tools, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and user satisfaction
  • A passion for solving problems and creating user-centric solutions
  • Requires self-starter, highly organized, efficient, and capable of leading large meetings and driving them towards a common goal
  • Ability to evaluate key business and product metrics to determine specific actions or service feature additions that would favorably impact key metrics
  • Strong project management, problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Requires knowledge of digital strategy delivery and data technologies
  • Desired candidate has knowledge of standard and emerging technologies, platforms, support systems, processes, architectures, process flows, integrated dependencies, etc.
  • Proven ability to interface with people from various departments, positions and knowledge levels
