Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic college student to join our Clinical Pharmacology team as an intern. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of pharmaceutical research and development, specifically focusing on clinical pharmacology. The intern will work closely with our team of professionals to support various aspects of clinical pharmacology including clinical/translational research projects.

Performance Objectives:
  • Participate in literature review and research to support clinical/translational research projects.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) data from clinical trials.
  • Apply critical thinking to integrate what has been published in the literature with PK and PD data from clinical trials to provide study team with dose optimization guidance.
  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations and scientific publications.
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and other departmental activities as required.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulatory guidelines, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with industry standards.


Education/Certification Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a relevant scientific field (e.g., pharmacology, pharmacy, biochemistry, biology, or related discipline).


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong academic background with coursework in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics (PK), biochemistry, molecular/cellular biology, genetics/genomics, or related areas preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze scientific data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Prior experience in a laboratory or research setting (particularly pharmacology, PK, biochemistry, molecular/cellular biology, or clinical/translational research) is desirable but not required.


The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $18 and $22 per hour . This pay range is based on the market range for positions of this type. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, commissions, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provi ded if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
