The Role

This position will be responsible for translating robust research findings into scientific publications and value communication tools (reactive and proactive) for US healthcare decision makers, as well as playing an integral role in supporting and contributing to the development and execution of robust health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology and real-world evidence plans that are aligned with brand strategies, medical affairs strategies, clinical development plans, support product value propositions, and optimize market access. This role will involve participation in cross-functional teams (Global, US), with strong scientific thinking.

This is a hybrid role that requires being onsite 60% of the time in Princeton, NJ.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement CORE tactical plan in alignment with CORE strategy and broader brand, medical and market access strategy.
  • Review and maintain knowledge in therapeutic area unmet needs, treatment guidelines, market access landscape and impact of treatments on clinical, economic, patient reported outcomes.
  • Contribute to the generation and compilation of evidence to demonstrate the unmet need in disease/value of products with a focus on outcomes meaningful to payers, clinical decision-makers and regulators.
  • Manage external vendors in conduct of HEOR research projects by defining/providing input into study design, data analysis and results
  • Ensure all research is conducted with a high level of scientific rigor
  • Contribute to the development of publications and presentations of research accomplishments at scientific conferences and forums
  • Develop customer facing materials (eg: value dossiers, field decks) and tools (eg: BIMs, cost calculators) that can communicate value to payer customer
  • Manage external vendors in the development of payer communication resources to ensure most recent data are incorporated into the resources, references are validated, and to support internal cross-functional review process
  • Investigate real-world datasets of interest to inform investment strategy in RWD across oncology portfolio
  • Develop/present (power point slides) on research-related topics to an extended or cross-functional team
  • As a member of the CORE team, contribute to department strategy and objectives as well as represent CORE on key initiatives.
  • As a member of the CORE team, support pipeline assets as needed.

Requirements
  • Graduate (Masters/PhD) degree in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, health services research, public health, health policy in life sciences industry
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience in life sciences industry
  • Oncology experience preferred
  • Demonstrated research accomplishments as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications.
  • Ability to work well in a team and cross-functional environment, as well as work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work successfully under pressure in a fast-paced environment and with tight timelines
  • Ability to be proactive, enthusiastic and goal oriented
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate key insights into strategy / tactics
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate key insights/data into evidence based scientific statements
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent time management, verbal & written communication skills

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$142,500.00---$237,500.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
