Contractor Research Associate II - Cell Line and Advanced Cellular Model Banking We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to support the centralized cell banking and distribution team. The focus will be to use a variety of culturing techniques to expand, bank, Quality Control, characterize and distribute advanced cellular models within Research. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in culturing a variety of cell lines and advanced cellular models; molecular; biochemical techniques and some automation experience. The candidate will be expected to frequently interact and communicate with other groups as part of a diverse and multidisciplinary team. Requirements: • BS/MS or PhD in life sciences • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture 4 years or more • 2 years or more of hands-on experience with optimizing, scaling up of cell lines, organoids and iPSCs • 2 year automation experience • In depth knowledge of cell lines and advance model QCs - karyotyping, tri-lineage differentiation, pluripotency testing, mycoplasma, authentication • Adept with FACs, IF staining, RT-PCR, biochemical assays, DNA & RNA extraction • Familiar with LIMS and proficient with database maintenance • Clear oral communication and interpersonal skills are required | |
