Description
Position Summary:

The Technician I, Operations - Fill supports the ongoing development, manufacture, and distribution of pharmaceutical products in compliance with local administration. The Technician, Operations - Fill will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This is a part-time position and will not exceed 25 hours per week.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production line
  • Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks
  • Ensure adequate supply, function, and output of production equipment
  • Adjust filler to include timing & fill volume per QA request
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
  • Collect required samples needed for Quality Assurance testing as required
  • Perform line changeovers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Complete pre and post cleaning per production run
  • Ensure all required information is properly documented in accordance with SOP's
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
  • Follow all required work safe practices
  • This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, etc
  • This position may be involved with the transportation and handling of hazardous waste; must successfully complete Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) training within 1 year of hire, and annually thereafter.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division)
  • Must be mechanically inclined and able to lift up to 20 pounds continuously
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces
  • Must have good hygiene
  • Ability to wear full cleanroom garb for up to 5 hours at a time

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma / or equivalent required
  • Associate degree preferred
