Position Summary:

This is a leadership role within the Technology Design and Customer Interface Team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for creating and executing the product strategy, adoption, deployment, marketing, and commercial activation for the new field of Swine Technology.

The person in this role will work closely with our Tech labs and Swine experts to design and develop new technology solutions for the swine industry. She/he will also be the primary point of contact for commercial teams worldwide, leading the deployment of LeeO and new Monitoring solutions in the swine species (SenseHub Swine).

The new team member will collaborate with our after-sales and commercial operations teams to ensure that we provide the best possible services to both our current and new customers. They will also help drive technology adoption, increase sales, and capture market share by offering guidance and updating product profiles in the SenseHub Swine Ecosystem.

It's essential that the person in this role connect with enabling functions within GCX (Global Commercial Experience Team) to execute effective digital campaigns and build a strong social media presence. They will also work with the Biopharma team to gain a deep understanding of the Global Swine business and collaborate with regions to gain insights into customer unmet needs.

Reporting to the Global Technology Design and Customer Interface Lead, the post holder will be a member of the Tech Design Leadership Team.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not exclusive to):
  • Developing and implementing a compelling and sustainable global vision and strategy focused on the creation and expansion of a portfolio of monitoring solutions and services for the Swine species.
  • Defining pricing and creation of business models in partnership with Global Comm Ops
  • To lead the product pipeline strategy for SenseHub Swine creating new revenue streams
  • To lead product profile definition for this category of products
  • Build business cases to support pipeline prioritization
  • Lead Ideation projects and Innovation Summits
  • Organize Advisory boards
  • Lead the creation of Marketing playbooks and keep them updated yearly.
  • Brand strategy: Ensuring compliance with Global Branding guidelines.
  • Transfer of new product knowledge to regional and country marketing teams
  • Co-responsible for new product introduction in close partnership with After Sales teams
  • Foster strong and effective partnerships towards product creation with important internal (Tech Labs, Data Labs, Commercial Operations, Marketing Teams, AH) and external stakeholders, including KOLs and universities, and be the voice of our customers.
  • Developing and maintaining a deep knowledge of the industry and identifying growth opportunities and /or new applications/ innovations.

Candidate Profile
  • The ideal candidate for this job should have a strong experience in technology adoption. It is also important for the candidate to have a background in animal identification and monitoring and an understanding of animal health. This candidate will possess a balance between strategy and commercial experience to lead and problem-solve across a wide variety of marketing, sales, business development, manufacturing, and supply chain-related topics. The candidate should be a driven, hands-on, and energetic personality, with a natural self-starter attitude and a focused approach to problem-solving. The role will require significant regional and international travel.

Education:
  • Bachelors/Master's degree in a related area of study. Veterinary degree or Animal Science degree is a plus

Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Sets:
  • 8+ years' experience in sectors related to the livestock value chain, e.g., animal health, nutrition, genetics, feed, technology, poultry industry, and product design.
  • Proven ability to synthesize industry and market trends into successful commercial strategies.
  • Able to convey complex ideas, prioritize business needs and objectives, and develop and implement comprehensive strategies.
  • Experience in product ideation and product profile definition
  • Seasoned leader with the ability to align fellow peers across functions and markets to drive progress on strategic objectives.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected salary range:
$181,600.00 - $285,800.00
