Job Description:

As a UX/UI designer, you will work alongside the UX Research and Visual Design Teams in an emerging full-service UX group

-

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the UX design process, while also contributing to the overall user experience strategy with your expertise in UI design

-

You will collaborate with stakeholders and build strong relationships across teams to ensure design excellence across a variety of projects

-

Lead the design of complex user interfaces and experiences for key products of the company

-

Define and promote UX design best practices within the organization and be an SME for the core UX group

-

Assist with user research and leverage insights for strategic decision-making

-

Bring your knowledge of visual design principles into the UX design process, occasionally building out UI designs

-

Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, product owners, business analysts, UX researchers, visual designers, and others to ensure a great user experience is delivered

-

Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs

-

Continuously improve the user experience based on feedback and data

-

Proactive and takes ownership of tasks

Education:
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics, Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

Experience:

-

3+ years of proven experience in UX design

-

Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Demonstrated experience using UX/UI design tools such as Adobe XD or Figma

-

Demonstrated experience in interaction design, rapid prototyping, low-fidelity prototyping, high-fidelity prototyping, and interactive prototyping

Experience with accessibility design principles

-

Experience with design systems and component libraries

-

Possess strong foundational skills in visual design with the ability to create custom design elements

-

Strong skills in information architecture and interaction design

-

Excellent communication and presentation skills

-

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

-

Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence

-

Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams

-

Able to work independently with some level of uncertainty while maintaining a big-picture understanding

-

Can balance acting with urgency with doing the right thing

-

Experience working in an Agile environment

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. -This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Expected salary range:
$83,100.00 - $130,900.00
