Position Description:

Regional Associate Director New Segments Development LatAm

Main Objective:

As the Regional Associate Director, your primary responsibility will be to identify, approach, and establish mutually beneficial partnership agreements. With a focus on Latin America's immense potential, a key growth strategy involves forging regional partnerships to explore untapped consumer segments for our products. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving external collaboration with various companies and employers, contributing to the expansion and success of our organization in the region

Main Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify potential partnership opportunities and develop effective strategies to harness their potential.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams across the region to identify and capitalize on partnership opportunities aligned with business objectives.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with both existing and prospective partners, ensuring long-term collaboration and mutual growth.
  • Develop innovative strategies to identify and capitalize on new partnership opportunities, aligning them with our organization's growth objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify potential collaborations and partners that can drive mutual success.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to evaluate the viability and potential impact of partnership opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of partnerships, making recommendations for adjustments and improvements as needed.
  • Utilize in-depth understanding of products and services to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential partners.
  • Drive the creation of joint initiatives and campaigns with sales and marketing teams, leveraging the benefits of strategic partnerships.
  • Support and nurture partners' engagement by providing ongoing assistance, information, and guidance to ensure a thriving collaborative relationship that can be scaled across the region.

Skills:
  • Deep expertise within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Deep expertise in Alliance and Partnership Management and Business Development
  • Experience leading B2B partnership and/or commercial relationship in the healthcare environment (specially with Insurance companies) is desired.
  • Strong marketing expertise in the areas of strategy, market research, and promotional tactics
  • Comfort levels engaging with a diversity of stakeholders across multiple divisions, countries, and regions.
  • Strengths in influencing senior leaders, both internally and externally
  • Be resourceful, a self-starter with a proactive mindset.
  • A strategic thinker and able to execute operationally and get things implemented.
  • Analytical skills with an ability to synthesize data / insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong business, commercial, and financial acumen
  • Outstanding collaborative skills
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry compliance and regulatory environment.

Position Qualifications :

Knowledge:
  • Education: Graduate degree in Marketing, Communication, Engineering, Economics, Life Sciences or other related areas, plus postgraduate extension/MBA (Marketing and Sales Management, Business development or other related areas);
  • Solid knowledge of working with external partners, Strategic Planning, Analytic Reading of the Market, Negotiation Techniques, Presentation Techniques.
  • Strong command of the Excel & PowerPoint tool usage.
  • Languages: Fluent English (essential) and Spanish (desirable)

Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in multiple roles (Example: e.commerce, business development, marketing)
  • Solid experience in the Latin America's pharmaceutical industry (desirable)
  • Experience indication agnostic with ability to understand needs of various therapeutic areas.
  • Working with cross functional teams, ability to network across the organization.
