Reporting to the US Pharma Communications Strategy Lead, the Senior Specialist, Communications Strategy, develops, plans, and executes communications and meeting strategies supporting the US Pharma Business Unit, which is comprised of the Chronic Care, Hospital & Virology Sales Organizations.

Responsibilities include and may not be limited to:

The Senior Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the US Market and of the US Pharma Business Unit strategies and priorities. This deep understanding is built upon a close partnership with Sales Leaders, Marketing, Strategy and Commercial Operations, Business Planning and other HQ based teams.

Communications Strategy:
  • End to end development and delivery of a longitudinal communication plan. This plan is based on a variety of internal and external market events, prioritization, informed trade-off decisions, and communications delivery options (channel, timing, frequency).
  • Identify opportunities/events to help prioritize the impact on customer facing teams. For example, product launch planning, organizational changes, capability deployments, learning initiatives, experiments, and projects.
  • Ensure all communications are appropriately informative to engage the field and delivered to the field in a timely and effective way.
  • Types of communications include but are not limited to the following - national sales calls, national marketing calls, field bulletins, audio messages, video messages, Teams meetings, and webcasts.

Meeting Strategy:
  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders, Marketing, Learning & Development, Meeting Planning, and other internal and external stakeholders to provide meeting strategy around agendas, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Partner with Sales Leaders on the development of meeting assets in support of meeting goals and objectives.
  • Coordination with the Communications Strategy Lead and Meeting Planning to manage meeting budgets.
  • Types of meetings include but are not limited to the following - launch, 1S/2S, Fast Start/Sales Kick Off, and leadership.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Change Management, Marketing, or Marketing Operational Support functions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional organization and strategic planning skills.
  • Able to work hybrid at our North Wales, Pennsylvania (Upper Gwynedd) office at least 3 days per week.
  • Willing to relocate if not within commuting distance to office.
  • Travel the amount of time the role requires, 10 - 25% per year.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
