This role will provide support for our Quality & Compliance for cGMP components strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deep and comprehensive understanding of 3D scanning technology, meshes and point clouds, and refining scans
  • Thorough experience with all slicing software from basic free software to proprietary and higher complexity software (Materialise Magics, Simplify3d, Meshmixer, etc)-
  • Advanced understanding of mechanical systems and industrial 3D printing machines, as well as post-processing machines. Ability to work on and troubleshoot varied mechanical systems back to working order.
  • Experience with vapor smoothing post-processing machines and the creation and management of solvent recipes
  • Experience with scalable vector graphics and laser cutting software, computerized numerical code for toolpaths on automated mills and routers.-
  • Material and parts testing
  • Collaborate on in-house testing parameters and strategy for internal vs. external testing
  • Execute on in-house testing
  • Own, manage and perform or schedule preventative maintenance for the material testing equipment
  • Facilitate external and company-internal collaboration for material and part testing
  • New materials and equipment testing
  • Identify new equipment or material candidates in the industry
  • Install and qualify new equipment in the lab
  • Develop material print profiles for machines that need custom parameter adjustments-
  • Develop SOPs for use of equipment, in collaboration with the manufacturer as appropriate, with the intention to eventually hand equipment off to the broader group for production work
  • Collaborate with other lab locations, vendors or Co-Lo partners to develop SOPs for new equipment and materials designated for other sites in our network
  • Internal communication and standards
  • Assist in developing SOPs, best practices and Quality & Compliance related knowledge to both share internally to our group, and in a data repository, such as OneDrive
  • Assist in organizing material testing information in a company-wide understandable format and accessible location, such as a SharePoint site

Position Qualifications :

Education Minimum Requirement:
  • High School Diploma required.

Required Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in design fabrication/manufacturing applications.
  • Minimum of 1 years' SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or Creo 3D cad software.
  • Minimum of 1 years operating 3D printing and slicer software.
  • Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience with a polymer fabrication technology (e.g. 3D Printing or Injection Molding).
  • Minimum of 1 year using and maintaining industrial, large format 3D printing and reclamation machines.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in using and maintaining vapor smoothing post-processing equipment.
  • Ability to build and work across divisions as well as internal and external teams and vendors.
  • Fine attention to detail in post-processing parts to ensure success in IQ OQ PQ qualification.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage a wide range of data types
  • Excellent communication to convert complicated information into a format the average person in an unrelated discipline can understand
  • Advanced ability to communicate and collaborate effectively-
  • Analytical thinking and logical reasoning for troubleshooting machine problems-

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

$68,400.00 - $107,700.00
