We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Business Leader-Technology Development who is interested in joining our fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The Associate Business Leader-TD provides strategic oversight, external partnership management and successful project execution for the Technology Development Business at HCATS. This position is based in Allendale, NJ.
Responsible for the overall global strategy development and implementation for the Technology Development Business.
Identification and removal of Primary Constraints to growth and competitive advantage for the global Technology Development Business.
Alliance management of external partnerships in the Technology Development Business.
Managing projects to support the development and commercialization of technologies.
Organizing and leading all project and partner communications/meetings (including global team meetings), including recording meeting minutes, tracking action items, preparing meeting agendas, coordinating with partners and internal team activities and disseminating project information.
Establishing, tracking and managing project schedule/critical path activities, status reporting, and resource plan development to ensure Technology Development projects are completed on time, on-schedule and within budget.
Collaborating with and providing ongoing project updates to senior management and functional leaders to ensure integration and achievement of project milestones.
Continuous improvement of Technology Development management processes
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor of Science degree in science, engineering or related discipline required; advanced degree in business or life sciences a plus.
First-hand experience and demonstrated success in complex strategic planning, project execution, and resource management for a cross-functional life science organization.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Relevant experience in biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceutical or medically related field.
Experience in GLP/GMP/GTP environments is highly valuable.
Experience in medical instrument/device development and commercialization is highly valuable.
Proven capabilities managing multiple projects in a rapidly evolving and demanding environment
Proficiency in project management principles, practices, and tools such as MS Project (Gantt charts) is required
Experience with the preparation of reports and/or presentations/communications via presentation tools such as PowerPoint, project dashboards and written reports
Strong communication skills, including technical writing, email, data presentation, and interaction with cross-functional teams.
