Description
Purpose
Accountable for developing an overall Omnichannel Campaign Operations vision along with delivery and management of an execution capability that helps drive orchestrated, customer-centric omni-channel marketing initiatives across Patient, HCP and Payer for NNI. Partners with brand leads and senior management to implement an overall campaign operations strategy and roadmap that successfully builds profitable, long-term programs. Responsible for the management and oversight of large, multi-million dollar infrastructure and solutions investments for NNI as well as drive optimization and efficiencies in execution and program delivery. Serve as subject matter expert to help evolve omni-channel roadmap for NNI, developing and executing a consolidated infrastructure/support plan and operating model to harmonize operating platforms that support and enable orchestrated, customer-centric marketing programs.

Relationship
Reports to the Sr. Director, Omni-Channel Marketing. Interacts proactively and extensively with Marketing brand leaders, senior leadership teams, and ensures close collaboration with Diabetes and Obesity Brand Marketing, Biopharm, Non-Personal Promotion, Sales, Sales Operations, Public Relations, Government Affairs, Medical/Clinical, Regulatory, Finance, Market Access, Trade, Corporate Communications, Government Affairs, Compliance, Commercial Effectiveness, Media, Product Safety, Procurement, Legal, IT as well as Global Marketing. Serves as subject matter expert in developing digital and relationship marketing operational strategies to meet the company's needs in the short and long term while supporting the operational execution of marketing initiatives. Also oversee key supplier relationships required for program execution. Supervises HCP and Patient Digital and RM Operations Team. Manages all levels of staff, including managers of others.
External relationships include working with key customer market segments, vendors, agencies, organizations, payors and employers, thought leaders and influencers.

Essential Functions
Champions Digital and RM concepts and examples of success to senior management in all aspects of the business. Identify and execute on optimization opportunities for favorable execution outcomes. Develops best-in-class capabilities for the execution of NNI Customer Centric Digital and Relationship Marketing. Oversees all operational aspects including database management, digital operations, reporting, management of technology infrastructure and capability solutions, developing a roadmap for identifying and integrating solutions to leverage emerging channels, compliance and information integrity, governance, streamlining and standardizing operating processes. Oversees key supplier relationships for execution of Digital and RM initiatives including SOW development, budget management, performance management and ad hoc issue resolution. Responsible for building off-shore Omni-channel capabilities. Ensures a framework, process and business rules are in place to execute orchestrated multichannel campaigns. Participates in and drives financial and planning opportunities. Establishes and enforces governance procedures to ensure CRM operational excellence and accountability internally and with the CRM key suppliers. Identifies opportunities to enhance programs and initiatives as well as optimizing future campaigns, investments and initiatives. This position will also have responsibility for managing personnel, contingent staffing and key supplier/vendor relationships for operational execution. Leads various cross-functional projects within the area of digital operations and RM marketing. Manages multiple CRM database management systems and vendors, digital operations, digital content management environments and digital traffic measurement platforms. Partners with Brand teams to identify key metrics and evaluate ROI/impact of programs. Manages reporting systems including Adobe, Google analytics, Crossix, Mckesson and any others. Partner with IT organization to ensure Novo Nordisk develops the technological support requirements that support execution of current and future digital and RM initiatives, including identification and integration of emerging channels and solutions. Partners with brand leads and senior management to develop and implement an overall Digital and RM strategy and roadmap that successfully builds profitable, long-term programs. System owner of current and future state campaign operations platforms and technologies. Creates an infrastructure for measurement, tracking, reporting and analytics. Identifies opportunities to enhance existing CRM scorecards and metrics. Aligns delivery of pull through execution of national, regional and local formulary opportunities. Works collaboratively with the managed markets team to engage with key customers to contribute to the execution of formulary execution programs as well as ensure the organization is informed of execution performance. Supervises HCP and Patient Digital and RM Operations Team.

Physical Requirements
0-15% overnight travel required.

Development of People
Ensure that reporting personnel have annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business, and that interim reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities, and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process. Ensure that the IDP forms include completed learning and aspiration plans and are in place for all reporting personnel to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility. Manage the application and communication of all Novo Nordisk policies, procedures, and Novo Nordisk Way.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree required in Marketing and/or technology related major. Masters' preferred.
  • Excellent collaboration skills required to work with internal stakeholders and coordinate activities across multiple key suppliers.
  • 13+ years of progressive marketing/CRM/brand management experience demonstrating a steady career progression with increasing roles of responsibility required.
  • 7+ years in CRM marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience developing and driving the execution of non-personal promotion and patient pharmaceutical marketing programs strongly preferred.
  • Managed markets execution experience desirable.
  • Exposure to cross-industry consumer focused RM execution desirable.
  • 7+ years of supervisory experience required.
  • Excellent strategic planning skills along with the ability to translate into tactics and operationalize for execution.
  • Must be able to execute short term results while developing capabilities for future requirements.
  • Strong technical background with working knowledge of database design, digital and CRM systems and emerging opportunities like mobile and social media.
