Reporting to the Global HR Strategic Partner for IT & Procurement, this HRBP role is a strategic partner to leaders in both IT and Procurement functions and responsible for delivering the people agenda through effective business partnering.

You will provide thought leadership for talent, organisation effectiveness and culture change in partnership with leaders and teams in IT and Procurement and will need to work effectively to use the broader HR Operating Model by drawing on support from the Centres of Expertise (CoEs) and deploying and delivering work through HR Services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

You will contribute to the development of functional area business strategies through the creation and delivery of an aligned people plan. The people plan will be informed initially and success measured subsequently by your use and interpretation of relevant people insights (dashboards, people survey, external benchmarking, etc delivered by the CoEs). This will require excellent business partnering skills and your ability to influence senior leaders, sometimes with conflicting priorities or perspective, is critical.

As part of a team of HRBPs for IT and Procurement, you will wear an "enterprise hat", collaborating with your HR colleagues to ensure the sharing of best practice, while recognising business priorities at the strategic level.

You will be responsible for:

•Leading multi-disciplinary projects & business change, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, people management, Labor Relations and change management,
•Supporting leaders with Strategic workforce planning activities as well as coaching, supporting, mentoring and providing advice and direction on complex HR issues in order to minimise risk and financial exposure
•Engage and contract with colleagues (eg. Global HR Business Partners, CoEs and senior HR & Business leaders to diagnose, design and deliver relevant HR interventions. Critical to this is taking HR solutions and shaping business leaders' views and decisions, guiding them through complex HR areas such as organisation development, talent development, and culture change, and your influence and strong relationship building skills are key here.
•Ensure HR solutions align to the business agenda by utilising global AZ HR policies, procedures, tools and techniques
•Deliver the people agenda to an agreed scope, on time and within budget to maximise benefit across the business
•Establishing relationships with business leaders and teams, and HR leaders to gather business requirements and ensure their understanding and commitment to the outcomes.
•Ensuring effective status reporting.
•Ensuring risk management, benefits management and communication

Working closely with HR colleagues on the culture and climate of the IT and Procurement, you will draw insights where any difficulties may arise and work actively with the business leaders to shape a desired culture and climate in line with our AZ values and to enable the vision and strategies of IT and Procurement.

You will bring to the role strong eye for business in terms of how AZ operates, what the business strategies are, and how financial and commercial acumen are important considerations that shape HR and people plans. In the role you will build on that acumen to develop knowledge of how the IT and Procurement functions enable the business success.

People data and analytics are essential in turning information into insights and at times business cases to drive decision making. You will be comfortable developing, modelling and driving business cases from concept to delivery. A command of financial basics, budgeting, unit P&Ls and general numeracy is key.

In collaboration with the Talent and Recruiting CoEs and with your IT & Procurement HRBP colleagues, you will create and implement a solid Talent cadence and Talent rhythm to strengthen capability in IT and Procurement.

Essential Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
•Experience of working in complex global multi-national organisations
•Track record of proven business benefits / improvement delivered
•Demonstrate experience of leading one or more complex HR projects through a complete project life-cycle
•Technical HR knowledge / skills associated one or more of the following disciplines - Resourcing, Performance & Reward, ER, L&D, organisational change
•Experience of HRBP in a complex matrix environment
•Strong stakeholder and influencing skills
•Ability to work in a fast paced agile environment, and actively manage your own workload while constantly prioritising project/work plans to meet the needs of the business
•Effective communicator
•Ability to prioritise and manage demands
•Ability to utilise data analytics to inform people plans
•Strong business insight, and ability to stay ahead of new and emerging business trends.
•Leadership skills; ability to engage and inspire and bring people with them
