Responsible for driving business impact relevant to NVS Respiratory franchise within "Systems of Care" accounts within a geographic territory.
Systems of Care accounts: IDNs, ACOs, Medical Groups, Health Networks of affiliated physicians, hospitals and/or outpatient clinics.
This role involves customer-facing partnership with Systems of Care decision makers (including but not limited to C/D Suite, population health officers, and quality of care directors) to provide collaborative solutions and compliantly leading internal matrix teams toward a customer centric goal.
Associate Director Systems of Care, reports directly to the Regional Lead, Systems of Care, Respiratory Market Access.

Establish credibility and key relationships with assigned accounts, understand customer needs, identify shared priorities and implement solutions/resources to improve patient care in a manner consistent with NVS policies.
Develop account management strategies for Systems of Care accounts in given geographic territory, including account-specific business plans for each of the SoCs in conjunction with multidisciplinary Novartis and Genentech teams and consistent with NVS policies
Follow macro trends (economic-, healthcare- and pharma-specific) at a national and geographic level to identify opportunity and risks for NVS Respiratory portfolio.
Gather insights across matrix teams within assigned accounts in a manner consistent with all NVS policies and procedures, including those regarding appropriate medical/commercial interactions.
Provide recommendations on resourcing of account team members to key internal stakeholders.
Periodically reassess and modify account strategies based on trends, insights, customer growth/needs.
Interpret business analytics to identify opportunities/actions for each account.
Map key account decision-makers, account decision-making processes, identify approach to engage, and determine appropriate NVS contact for each stakeholder
Conduct pre-launch profiling and assess market readiness in advance of new products/indications.
Coordinate account-level processes with NVS brand teams, lead pull-through initiatives with local (Area Business Leaders, Clinical Specialists, etc) teams, and other key functions (e.g., customer marketing, digital teams) to provide "on-the-ground" perspective and keep up with latest messages and offerings.
Responsible for ongoing communication and business reviews with the Respiratory RD's and ABL's
Work with fellow Associate Directors, SoC across geographies and portfolios to share learnings, insights, and opportunities.
Effectively work cross-functionally with joint-venture partner, Genentech.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years experience of demonstrated success in the pharmaceutical industry; specialty pharmaceuticals/biotech experience preferred. Experience in Account Management and/or Sales Management calling on organized customer groups in healthcare (IDNs, ACOs, Medical Groups, and GPOs) preferred.
Must have solid understanding of organized customer groups in healthcare (IDNs, ACOs, Medical Groups, and GPOs).
Proven leadership ability with customers and internal matrix teams.
Able to demonstrate customer-centric relationship building required.
Deep understanding of healthcare marketplace and trends.
Experience and knowledge in cardiovascular therapeutic area preferred.
Proven problem solver with solid analytical ability and strategic thinking skills.
Proven prioritization skills with ability to adapt to change is a must.
Project management experience preferred.
Entrepreneurial mindset is highly valued.
