Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible performing a broad range of bioassays (binding and cell-based) in the areas of cell biology and molecular biology. She/he will be responsible for carrying out biological characterization and testing of biopharmaceutical products, such as therapeutic monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins. The candidate will perform cell culture, cell banking, cell line development/characterization, immunoassay and potency assay development and conduct sample testing. The candidate will be expected to make detailed observations, analyze data, interpret results, and exercise appropriate technical discretion in the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments. Preparation of technical reports, protocols, and data summaries for presentation is required. The ability to prepare SOPs, to follow policies and regulations, and to perform lab equipment maintenance are critical. The successful candidate must have good written and oral communication skills, good time management and outstanding multi-tasking abilities, and the ability to work in team environment and a fast-paced team-centered setting.


Position Requirements:

Master's Degree and five (5+) years' experience OR Bachelor's Degree and eight (8+) years' experience.

Prior experience with cell culture, immunoassays and cell-based assays in industry environment is preferred.

Experience with GLP/GMP is a plus.

Education:

BS or M.S in Biological Science.

Additional Notes:

The appropriate candidate should have extensive experience with mammalian cell culture, in vitro assays and their application in biological characterization for biologics. 

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively contribute to project teams.

Good documentation, writing and communication skills.

Familiar with lab instrumentations and relevant software packages.
