Position Summary :

Glenmark is actively seeking a Project Coordinator to join the growing team in Monroe, NC. The project coordinator will work with the project manager and adjunct team to organize and implement company projects. Working in a team environment, the project coordinator will organize meetings, take notes, manage schedules, and ensure all materials and information are present to meet project timelines. The role is essential to the launching of new projects. The project coordinator must be organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Monitor current projects and coordinates all team members involved to keep workflow on track
- Assign, track, and follow up on project tasks and generate distribute task reports
- Work to improve the project process
- Ensure project aligns with set strategy
- Organize and plan meetings with project manager/stakeholder
- Arrange and manage team goals/project schedules/new information and keeps all material up-to-date
- Under the direction of the Project Manager, communicate timeline changes and new information to team; tracks project changes and adjust schedules as needed
- Contribute to preparation of project presentations and media
- Record minutes and take detailed notes during meetings
- In charge of keeping track of all project-related documents; ensure all needed materials are current and properly filed and stored
- Strategize with project managers when needed
- Track and analyze project risks and recommend improvements
- This person would have to acclimate to Microsoft project
Education :

- Minimum BS/BA in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or equivalent
Experience :

- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmaceutical experience
- Prior experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing setting
Knowledge & Skills :

- General understanding of CGMPs
- Self-starter
- Adept at performing in a high paced environment
- Ability to motivate colleagues to drive project completion
- Project Management Certification a plus
