IT Project Manager/Business Analyst (IT PM/BA), Contractor

Position Summary
The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst (IT PM/BA), Contractor will lead multiple projects from discovery and analysis phases through completion. The IT PM/BA will facilitate requirements gathering sessions and create the appropriate documentation while adhering to project scope, schedule, quality and budget. The IT PM/BA must possess strong communication skills and be savvy working with both technology and business partners across the organization in a collaborative way. This role is one that requires in depth analytical skills, team leadership, business acumen, and strong relationship management skills within IT and Business.

Roles and Responsibilities

The IT PM/BA is responsible for:

- Managing complex projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost to deliver specified requirements and meet customer satisfaction
- Working closely with business owners to define and document requirements
- Building a reasonable project schedule that shows how the project will be completed
- Issuing regular written project reports to respective shareholders
- Identifying, tracking, managing, and resolving project issues
- Proactively disseminating project information to all stakeholders
- Identifying, managing and mitigating project risk
- Proactively managing scope to ensure that only what was agreed to is delivered, unless changes are approved through scope management
- Defining and collecting metrics to give a sense for how the project is progressing and whether the deliverables produced are acceptable
