Merck's Global Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Specialist in Diversity & Inclusion to play an indispensable role in the ongoing development and execution of our diversity and inclusion strategy and to support our commitment to the recruitment and onboarding of talented diverse individuals at Merck and MSD

The Specialist will:

•Co-develop and lead the implementation of a divisional strategy to promote inclusive recruitment, assessment, and hiring practices.
•Serve as a consultative resource for colleagues in Global Talent Acquisition and throughout the business in promoting the aforementioned practices.
•Partner and Develop, deliver, and refine reporting tools and training modules to track and promote inclusive practices.
•Partner with colleagues throughout the organization to promote understanding and ensure that Merck remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
•Assist in the sourcing, development, and dissemination of employer branding content that promotes diversity and inclusion, engaging in the content planning, review, and efficacy measurement processes.
•Leverage strategic partnerships with organizations internal and external to Merck that promote diversity and inclusion, with a special focus on Merck's Diversity and Inclusion Center of Excellence.
•Lead the Talent Acquisition team's engagement with Merck's Employee-Business Resource Group network.


Education Minimum Requirement:

•Bachelor's degree Required Experience and Skills:

•3-5 years professional experience working in positions focused on recruitment, staffing, diversity & inclusion, and/or candidate assessment. Preferred Experience and Skills:

•Experience working on diversity and inclusion initiatives in a professional or educational construct. Knowledge of best practices in marketing with an emphasis social media. Experience working in a team construct. Experience working on projects reliant on driving results through consensus with multiple stakeholders.
