Position Location: Upper Gwynedd, PA with Hybrid work model (combination of in-office and work from home abilities).

The-Associate Director, Digital & Omnichannel Innovation for US Oncology-focuses on digital health solutions and emerging customer experience and/or Omnichannel pilot capabilities. The OOS&I team works to identify unmet needs, identify potential solutions for those needs, seek approval to develop/deploy these innovation solutions in a compliant manner and then scale successful solutions up to deliver full value across the US Oncology Franchise and, or our company's US Market.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities include and may not be limited to:
  • Strategically develop and deliver high quality digital health strategies and emerging customer experience and/or Omnichannel pilot capabilities which have the potential for an improved patient/customer experience or provide better patient outcomes
  • Exemplify collaborative leadership mindset while providing subject matter expertise through ability to listen stakeholders, share external best practices, educate on landscape emerging trends/issues and learn/iterate upon successful launch
  • Lead through influence and work across complex matrixed teams in order to build partnerships and trust with Commercial Legal, Compliance, Privacy and Regulatory colleagues to effectively alleviate concerns and mitigate real/perceived risk from never before tried customer engagement capabilities and digital health solutions
  • Work through white space in order to bridge the innovation and traditional pharma gap in order to achieve differentiated business goals
  • Dotted line to OOS&O Director to inform strategic roadmap development of capabilities and provide operational updates / reports on programs

Specifically, this position works on a team that:
  • Researches and understands the external environment and innovation landscape to evaluate potential partnerships or solutions that can deliver on the Quadruple Aim and making a meaningful impact of the quality of cancer care as well as differentiate our products/services in the marketplace
  • Determines which landscape trends have the greatest unmet need, which can be best solved through experimental partnerships or emerging capabilities by defining use cases and associated customer / business value for why tumor teams should pilot (or not)
  • Works closely with external start-ups and big tech partners and internal senior stakeholders to determine how tumor teams can capitalize on priority innovation areas and also align to US Oncology priorities
  • Understands the details of the tumor marketing strategy in order to make recommendations for digital solutions and executions that complement the overall marketing plan by creating defined business case that clearly articulates unmet customer needs or business challenges; then determines what success looks like from the business/customer perspective for a solution that addresses the unmet need. Individual will then procure tumor team alignment on charter and success criteria prior to launch (programs include but not limited too:- Digital Health partners, Innovative Cross-Audience Capabilities bespoke to Oncology, etc.)
  • If pilot is determined to be successful and scalable: Collaborates as appropriate with key stakeholders (legal, regulatory, privacy, etc.) within the US to enable a well-structured, viable approach to scaling innovative approaches by identifying pilot effectiveness/optimizations and provide reporting as appropriate
  • Leads launch of programs/capabilities, collect insights and measured value of the new Omnichannel Customer Engagement Capabilities, Digital Health, Population Health and/or Patient Services Partnerships (inclusive of but not limited too- setting project objectives, coordinating cross-functional resources, setting timelines, defining project measurement plans and risk mitigation as needed)
  • Supports and manages pilots & innovative solutions into core customer capabilities and then successfully transfer them to the OOS&O team or US HH Capabilities teams for long term capability maintenance

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of digital marketing knowledge including strategy development and other technical platforms (omnichannel platforms, data management platforms)
  • Minimum of 6 years biopharma/pharmaceutical marketing knowledge focusing on Healthcare Professional, patient and or Payer/Key Account stakeholders -
  • Ability to direct, advocate, and collaborate across various matrixed functions - at all levels
  • Exceptional knowledge of digital health trends -
  • Strong demonstration of independent working skills, motivated self-starter, growth mindset -

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA degree
  • Digital knowledge at an advertising agency
  • Oncology marketing experience
  • Digital Health experience
  • Omnichannel marketing experience

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected salary range:
$149,400.00 - $235,100.00
